1. What happens to the document you upload

Your PDF file is never sent to our server or to the AI. It's processed entirely inside your browser: text extraction, optical recognition of scanned pages, and rebuilding the redacted PDF all happen on your own device. Only the text of each page (never the image or the file itself) is sent to our server, which forwards it to the AI (Claude, by Anthropic, or Gemini, by Google, as a fallback) solely to identify which fragments are personal data. That text is not stored after processing.

2. Your account data

When you register we store your email, your name, an encrypted password (never in plain text), and your plan/credits. These are stored in a file outside the server's public folder, not reachable from a browser. Nothing is shared with third parties except the AI providers (who only receive each page's text, never your identity) and, once activated, the payment gateway.

3. AI engines

We use Claude (Anthropic) as the main engine and Gemini (Google) as a fallback. Anthropic does not train its models on API content by default. Before handling real documents with sensitive client data, we use a paid tier from these providers rather than the free tier.

4. How long things are kept

The original and the redacted document never touch our server. Text sent for analysis is not stored once the request is answered. We do keep minimal metadata in your account history (date, action type, credits spent) so you can see your own activity — never the content of your documents.

5. Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data by writing to support@vysatrading.com, or by cancelling your account from the Account & plan page.

6. Payments

Payments are processed through Polar (Polar Software, Inc.), which acts as the merchant of record for our plans and handles billing and applicable taxes. We never store or see your card details.
